It’s that time of year folks! The annual Livingstone Tractor Run takes place in Armagh later today (Saturday).
Hundreds of tractors and even more spectators are expected to turn out for the annual charity event in the city.
But of course that means a few delays for motorists travelling in the area around midday.
And police have advised those not taking part, what and when to expect the disruption.
Expect delays on the Markethill/Gosford Road out of Armagh, Hamiltonsbawn, Richhill and the Portadown Road back in to the city between approximately 12pm and 3.30pm.
The tractors will be meeting in town from 10am onwards and record numbers upwards of 800 tractors are expected so delays are possible as they make their way to the starting point on the Hamiltonsbawn Road!
Other road users, please be patient or use another route if you’re in a hurry. Police will be along the route assisting with traffic and there will be plenty of event marshals who will let you through when possible.
Get there with plenty time to spare as conditions are icy this morning, especially out in the country.
The organisers of the annual event are hoping this year’s event will exceed 2016’s record-breaking turnout.
