As part of the ‘Armagh Fusion Festival’, Aonach Mhacha mounts a striking photographic exhibition of the work of veteran Armagh photographer, Vincent Loughran, in our stunning exhibition and conference space. The exhibition will focus on the Shambles area and in particular the former fire station and the new state of the art Irish language and arts centre named after the Goddess Macha who also gave her name to our ancient city. Vincent uses his extensive photographic collection to tell the story of this ancient part of Armagh over the past three decades. This is a bi-lingual exhibition with informative captions in both Irish and English. Tá muid ag dúil go mór le taispeántas Vincent a fheiceáil – Beidh fáilte roimh chách.
The exhibition will be on display from March 3, in Aonach Mhacha and remain in place during Seachtain na Gaeilge which runs up to St. Patrick’s Day.
