Thrilling classic rock band Rock Rising took to the Market Place Theatre stage to electrify an awaiting Armagh audience this week.
Armagh I secured a pre-show interview with two members of the seven-piece band to get a quick insight into the rock and roll lifestyle.
Singer Eric and drummer James explained that Rock Rising, as it is known today, is a fairly recent extension of the band’s initial successes since its formation in 1992.
Their show is designed to catapult you through the evolution of classic rock, featuring rock anthems from legendary acts such as Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Journey, Foreigner, Toto, Thin Lizzy and many more multi-platinum selling artists from the last four decades.
They take musicianship and stagecraft to a different level where those timeless classics are painstakingly recreated and delivered with a unique sense of honesty and vibe, encapsulated in a stunning custom designed light and pyrotechnic show – Always leaving the audience wanting more.
They will now continue on their tour across Northern Ireland before heading over to Germany later in the year.
