A broken down car on the outskirts of Keady is causing chaos with motorists travelling along that road this evening.
The vehicle is currently marooned on the side of the Castleblayney Road, without hazard lights and in pitch darkness.
A number of readers have contacted Armagh I this evening to warn others of the danger.
One man put it bluntly, saying: “The car is on the side of the road, on a corner heading towards Keady, travelling from Castleblayney.
“The stupid idiot who has broke down hasn’t turned on the hazard lights. A certain accident waiting to happen.”
Another said: “It’s sitting on the middle of the road just around the corner from the entrance to Carna Forest.
“There’s no lights or hazard lights on and is in a bad spot especially in the dark. Only somebody flashed me down I might as well been into the back of it.”
One woman added: “There’s a car parked up on the middle of the Blayney Road out of Keady. Luckily I was going the opposite way because it’s impossible to spot it from any sort of distance. Hopefully it’s cleared soon.”
The road has had its fair share of bad accidents and only last month took the life of Keady man Tim Woods.
Be wary and drive carefully.
