Emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision near Darkley.
It happened shortly before 5pm and it is understood two lorries are involved.
Fire crews and police are in attendance at the collision, which happened on the main Newtownhamilton to Keady Road, just after the Darkley turn-off and beside Carrickawilken Orange Hall.
The Air Ambulance also attended the scene and has now left a short time ago.
The road remains closed and traffic is being diverted through Darkley village.
A NIAS spokesperson said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 16:15 on Thursday 22 August following reports of a Road Traffic Collision involving two lorries on Darkley Road, Armagh.
“NIAS despatched an Emergency Crew to the scene and also tasked the Charity Air Ambulance to the incident.
“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was brought to Craigavon Area Hospital.”
