A man accused with causing the death of a county Armagh teenager is actively evading police, a court has been told.
Lesley-Ann McCarragher, 19, died last April after she was struck by a car on the Monaghan Road close to her home in Milford.
She had been out jogging when the incident happened.
She was airlifted to hospital but passed away as a result of her injuries.
Nathan Finn, 18, from the Keady Road in Armagh, has already been charged with causing her death by dangerous driving.
A previous sitting of Armagh magistrates’ Court heard how Finn’s co-accused, who cannot be named at this stage, could not be found.
Today, the same court was told that a European arrest warrant would be issued in respect to the co-accused.
The case was once again adjourned despite Finn’s appearance today.
The prosecution said they were unable to proceed with the case in the absence of one of the two men accused of Lesley-Ann’s death.
The case is due to go before Crown Court at a later date.
A detective told Armagh court that the co-accused is “actively evading police and not making himself available”.
The case was adjourned for a further two weeks while the defendant “remains at large”.
Finn will also seek amendments to his current bail conditions which police are opposed to.
