A teenager is due to appear in court next month charged with trolling a public figure online.
Police have charged an 18-year-old man with the improper use of a public electronic communications’ network.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 2 August.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The charge follows an inappropriate message sent to the social media page of a public figure.
