
Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious incident at a farm in south Armagh this morning (Saturday).
At least 30 firefighters from several stations – including as far afield as Newcastle – have been called to the scene on the Kingsmill Road in Bessbrook.
Armagh I understands the incident, which happened around 7am this morning, involves a number of cattle.
Firefighters, and an animal rescue unit, are desperately trying to release at least two cows, which have fallen into a slurry tank on the farm.
The incident is currently ongoing.
