Heart-felt sympathy is extended to the family of little Daniel Scott, who passed away on Friday night in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
The young Armagh boy, who featured in the first programme of the BBC NI six-part series ‘City of Faith’, had been fighting for his life in hospital.
A series of special prayer meetings had been held throughout the course of the past week in the Advice Centre of the Mall Presbyterian Church at 9.30pm.
The first programme of the TV show, screened last month, featured David and Claire Scott, (pictured), members of The Mall Presbyterian Church.
Little Daniel – who was 20 months of age – had been diagnosed with Exomphalos – a medical condition which means some of his main organs are outside his body.
The couple had shared their story and explained how the situation has brought them both closer to one another and to God.
Daniel had been taken early last week and sadly lost his fight for life on Friday.
His funeral service will be held at The Mall Presbyterian Church this Tuesday, at 2pm.
