A man is to appear in court later this morning (Thursday) charged with two counts of rape.
Detectives have also charged the 31-year-old with attempted rape and intimidating a witness.
He is expected to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
