Two men were spotted making off on foot following a burglary in Newry.
The thieves gained entry to a house in the New Road area of Tullydonnell and a number of items, including jewellery and a sum of money were stolen.
The incident happened on Saturday, September 10.
Constable Finucane said : “It was reported that between the hours of 7.40pm and 8.15pm, two males gained entry to a residential premises and a number of items including jewellery and a sum of money was stolen.
“The two males were last seen on foot running in the direction on Dundalk.
“We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1366 of 10/09/16.
“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
