Weeks of hard work finally paid off with the Christmas lights switch-on in Newtownhamilton.
Sunday, December 10 saw the culmination of weeks of hard work by members of the Community Association when the town’s Christmas Tree lights were switched on by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson Roisin Mulgrew.
The large crowd, of more than 80 children paid a visit to Santa, in his wonderful grotto, and made sure he knew what they wanted for Christmas.
The night was rounded off with a disco and a visit by surprise guests Peppa Pig, Sky & Chase from Paw Patrol.
