Would-be thieves attempted to break into a house in Portadown over the weekend.
Police are appealing for information with regards an attempted burglary that occurred between Friday and Saturday (March 9) within the vicinity of Wentworth Green, Portadown.
Fortunately, this time the criminal’s attempts were unsuccessful, despite causing extensive damage to the property.
A police spokesperson said: “Did you see anything suspicious at this time? Police would be keen to explore any investigative avenues the public can provide.
“If you have any information on this, please ring 101 and quote reference 1052 of 09/03/24.”
This is the second attempted break-in of a property in Wentworth Green in several months.
Back in December a group of men entered an enclosed garden and attempted to open the doors at a property.
They are described as having been wearing dark ski masks and dark clothing.
