Two people were taken to hospital following a collision on the outskirts of Portadown this morning (Thursday).
The two-vehicle crash happened on the Bleary Road, close to the Knocknamuckley church, shortly after 8.15am.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: “NIAS despatched two emergency crews to the incident. Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients were taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by Ambulance.
Police said officers also attended along with colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service.
A PSNI spokesperson commented: “The drivers of the vehicles were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage which could assist the investigation, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 292 05/10/23.”
