A woman was taken to hospital after being trapped under a car in Portadown this afternoon.
It is understood a single car and pedestrian were involved in the incident on Park Road around 1.15pm.
Firefighters removed the car from the woman, believed to be in her seventies, with specialist lifting equipment.
It took firefighters around 30 minutes to free the woman.
The woman was initially treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital where her condition remains unknown.
The road remains closed at this stage
Police have advised motorists to avoid the area and to seek an alternative route.
The PSNI posted on social media: “We’ll update when road is open again.
“Don’t be like the driver who ignored the officers on the ground and tried to drive through the scene. Some things take priority.
“Thanks for your patience.”
