An investigation has been launched following an arson attack on a family home in south Armagh on Sunday morning.
Two vehicles were set on fire outside a property on the Carrickrovaddy Road, near Belleeks.
The incident happened shortly before 2am but fortunately there was nobody in the house at the time.
CCTV footage show the assailant make his way from the scene across a nearby field.
Meanwhile, police have appealed for information.
“Officers along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) attended, however both vehicles – a white Mercedes Sprinter Van and a white Ford Focus car – had been destroyed in the blaze.
“This is being treated as arson and police are appealing to anyone with any information or footage that could assist with enquiries to get in touch on 101 quoting reference 194 of 21/07/24.”

A spokesperson fro the NIFRS confirmed that one crew from Newtownhamilton attended the incident at 1.50am.
“Firefighters were called to reports of two vehicles on fire on Carrickrovaddy Road, Newtownhamilton, and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
“The cause of the fire is believed to have been deliberate ignition and the incident was dealt with by 2.28am.”
